Who’s Nathan?
I was involved in competitive soccer from grade school into college. But after stopping competitive sports and getting married, I let myself go and ended up ballooning from 170lbs to 237lbs. Not pretty.
Around my 30th birthday, I began exploring information around fitness and nutrition, made significant adjustments to my diet, and began regular cardio workouts. I got back to my college weight in my mid-30’s through a combination of change to my diet, along with cardio and calisthenics workouts.
My fascination with nutrition, fitness, and overall health has continued into my 40’s, and I made things official with NASM certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching.
I’m a minimalist, and that extends to my training and nutrition. We can not only be healthy - but in above-average shape - with a simple approach to workouts and diet.
